Search Dogs Essex

Trust your Dog

The team is entirely made up of volunteers. In order to operate professionally we need to maintain our search equipment and safety items.

You may be able to help us in a couple of ways. For example you can contribute financially or maybe in a way that is specific to you or your business.

We also offer interesting talks and presentations about our work for a small donation to the charity.

We always promote our new supporters in several ways. We use the local papers, radio station, our web page and our van.

If you would like to discuss our work in more detail or would like to be given a presentation about our unit, please feel free to contact us.

FUNDING

The Big Lottery Fund has recently awarded £4500 to Search Dogs Essex towards the training and licensing of Ground Scenting /Mantrailing and Scent Discrimination dogs.

Search Dogs Essex is very grateful to be awarded the funding for a training project that will lead to a very real benefit for the Essex Community as a whole. The community will be able to access the service of these dogs via the Essex Police Force after the dogs have been fully trained and licensed by Lowland Search Dogs at the end of the project.

The Big Lottery Fund distributes funding on behalf of the National Lottery across the UK.  The Fund aims to enable others to make real improvements to communities and the lives of those people most in need.
